11 Years Later

The right shoulder repair job is still holding up. Some people think Army doctors are terrible, but - at least in my instance - I have to disagree. Sure, it's not a big-league sports type of repair, but it did the job. Still gets a little stiff and uncomfortable when the weather changes, but even that is not as noticeable anymore.

Other than it having happened on this date in 1996, it's really apropos of nothing. Better than me whining about stuff, though, right?

Sore parts are just little reminders that you haven't spent your life on the couch doing the lays potato chip shuffle.

This is true. And there's usually a good story in there somewhere. Or a lesson for others. Sometimes both.
