Crossed Up, And Ten

Ten. TEN. That's how many inches of new snow Meadows is reporting in the last 24 hours.

And I'm at work.

Clearly, my priorities are all kinds of screwed up. I mean, work will always be here, but fresh pow in April is fleeting.

In other news, and perhaps more importantly, I got my ski patrol cross last night at the monthly meeting, as did several other members of the '06-'07 apprentice class. Now I can start sinking money into getting everything sewn on.

That's AWESOME!!! Congrats! Too bad you don't know anyone that sews. :) I can sew but not that well and I think you would want your patches to look good after being sewn on. ;)

I think we need to find you a job at Mt. Hood. What do you think?

Do you do all this on the mountain for free?

Free? Well, I don't have to buy a lift ticket to patrol, if that's what you mean. But I wouldn't call volunteer ski patrol "free", necessarily...

Oh, and thanks Kelly!

Yeah, a job at the mountain would be sweet. I need to plot my takeover of either the Mt Hood Brewing Co. or the Eliot Glacier brew pub...

Congrats Mike!!!
Sorry I had to leave the meeting early so I couldnt watch the fun occur.
John G I believe has a good number in Spokane for this, reasonably priced. Let me know, as I have some things too, we could share shipping.
